Trash Removal

Beginning Oct. 10, 2008 the boro will start recycling. You may put plastic, aluminum, glass, and cardboard in this yellow can. If you have not yet received a yellow can and do not receive it by that date please contact PENN WASTE. You may set out regular trash and 1 bulk item on Tuesday and recycle will be on Fridays. Reminders:

-Landlords are required to notify tax collector when there is a change in occupancy at rental properties.

-If you receive a tax bill and payment is to be made from your escrow account, please forward your tax bill  to the escrow company.

-State Law Requires all residents 18 years and older with an income of $4,000.00 or more per year to pay  Borough Per Capita.

Refuse Collection:

Monday - Friday. The maximum quantity of refuse which will be collected at each collection from a tract of real estate is six (6) units of refuse. Also containers shall be set at the curb of the street by 6:00 a.m. of the day of collection but no earlier than 5:00 p.m. of the day prior to the day of collection and empty containers shall be removed from the curb by 8:00 p.m. the day of collection. All Borough Residents:
